My home baking

Anzac biscuits


Chelsea Anzac biscuit recipe

The recipe is:
1 cup of Edmonds Standard Grade
1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 3/4 cups of rolled oats
1/2 cup of Chelsea White Sugar or Chelsea Raw Sugar
1/4 cup (firmly packed) Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar
1 cup desiccated coconut 
125g Tararua Butter, cubed
1/4 cup Chelsea golden syrup tin
2 tablespoons of water 
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

Only difficulties was making them into balls as the mixture was quite loose.

It tasted really good, It smelled fresh and the texture was a hard outside with a soft and chewy centre.

Physical Wellbeing.
Physical Wellbeing is like keeping yourself fit during the lockdown and making choices to make sure to ensure your health.

Social Wellbeing
Socialwellbeing is just where you think you belong in your society or community and how you support your friends and family.

Te oranga pāpor

Ko te oranga hapori ko te waahi kei te whakaaro koe kei roto i to hapori, ki to hapori ranei me pehea te tautoko i o hoa me to whanau.

Mental wellbeing
 It is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential.


Te oranga hinengaro Ka tautuhia hei whenua oranga e kitea ai e ia tangata tona ake kaha.

Spiritual Wellbeing
It means that you can find and experience the meaning of life through art, music or whatever they like to do.


Te oranga wairua
Ko te tikanga ka taea e koe te kite me te wheako i te tikanga o te ora ma te mahi toi, ma te puoro, i nga mea ranei e hiahia ana ratou.

Whare tapa wha

This is the maori philosiphy towards health and are just like all of the 4 wellbeings in one.


Hauora

This means health, when it means health it means your Physical health, mental health, Social health and your spiritual health.



Scenario 1- Owen is new to New Zealand and doesn’t know a lot of English.
Owen is finding it really hard to concentrate in class and he is sure that everyone is looking at him. He has no one to hang out with at lunch. Owen starts to think about bunking school.

Describe the effects on at least 3 areas of wellbeing in some details,
1.Social Wellbeing
This might effect him later on in his life because he might become really shy aand not wanting toalk because he's new to english, he also might not try to learn english.
2.Physical
He might of wanted to join a sport, but now he doesn't think it's a good idea now because of his english.
3.Mental
He might have negative thoughts in his head and he might not try to do anything about it.

2-3 strategies that will support his wellbeing.
Finding help within the school example(teacher,school councillor).
Talk to parents about how he feels about school.
