9HEC Spring Rolls

 Cucumber - half,

Half a carrot,sliced finely

1 cup lettuce leaf,sliced finely

3 leafs of mint,

1/3 of of a capsicum, sliced finely

Method:

Water down the paper rolls,

Then put your chopped vegetables and ingredients onto the middle,

Then fold to form a Spring rolls,

What I think:

I think that it was bland and soggy, even with the sauce on it; it still tastes awful. It would be better if it was cooked and if we cooked the actual vegetables with a sauce to give it flavour.

  1. Hi Sonny. This is a much improved blog. I like your photos and your comments about the roll. I totally agree about the taste and texture of the rice paper. These do not get cooked. I suggest you research what type of wrap the cooked spring rolls use. Can you remember the name for the way you cut the carrots?

  2. Hi Sonny. I am interested in the fact that you found these spring rolls to be bland and soggy. Have you considered using vegetables with a stronger flavour? Maybe a different dipping sauce could also add flavour. I do agree with your comments especially about the Rice Paper used in the roll.
