Yesterday we made ginger gems but I wasn't here so I'm just gonna talk about what all the groups did and how good or bad they were.
Most groups didn't do so well but 1 group really really good.
The Ginger gems that we had had a spicy taste to it but I don't know what it actually supposed to taste like because I wasn't here to actually taste it,
I don't know the recipe because well I already said that I wasn't here so I searched it up and it was something like this:
1.spices of some sort
2.egg
3.flour and something else that I don't know etc.
So that's all I know about our lesson.
Hi Sonny. Ginger Gems are a traditional baked product which used to be made in cast iron Gem Irons. These gem irons were preheated in the oven, carefully removed, quickly greased with some butter and the Ginger Gem mixture (a bit like a muffin mixture) was spooned into them before returning to the oven. The resulting Gems were well risen, with a gingery/cinnamon flavour and were delicious split in half and served warm with butter.
